Send a link that opens your design in 2D and 3D — no account needed for the person viewing, and always free.
Before you start
- Edit or manage permission on the project. Projects are private by default.
Steps
- Open the project and choose Share.
- Choose Create link and pick what it shows:
- Snapshot — a fixed copy of the design as it is now. Later edits aren't visible.
- Live view — always shows the latest version. Choose this only when you're happy for viewers to see work in progress.
- Optional settings: expiry date, password, and whether viewers may download exports.
- Copy the link and send it.
- To stop sharing, choose Revoke. The link stops working immediately and can't be used to get new file links.
Good to know
- Link viewers can't edit, comment or see anything else in your workspace.
- Link passwords are stored hashed; we can't tell you a forgotten one — create a new link instead.
- To let someone comment, invite them as a free Guest instead.
Common problems
- "This link has expired or been revoked." Ask the owner for a new link.
- The viewer sees an old design. It's a snapshot link. Create a new snapshot or switch to a live link.
