Acceptable use policy

What “unlimited” means, how fair scheduling, AI fair use and per-file limits work, what's prohibited, and how appeals work.

This policy is published before checkout so you know exactly what you're buying.

Unlimited means no usage caps

Subscribers have no daily or monthly quantity limits on workspaces, projects, floors, variants, uploads, storage, exports, renders, AI requests or version history. Heavy use by people designing homes and spaces is exactly what the plan is for, and we will not quietly introduce credits, quotas or lower quality.

Fair scheduling

To keep the service fast for everyone, we control how much runs at the same time — never how much you can do in total:

  • AI: one external AI request runs at a time per workspace. If you or a teammate ask for more while one is running, the next request waits for the slot and starts automatically; it isn't refused.
  • Background work such as processing uploads and preparing workspace exports runs up to 3 jobs at a time per workspace; the rest wait in a queue and start automatically.
  • Renders are made in your own browser, so they never wait in a queue on our servers. Very large renders depend on your device's graphics memory.

We may raise these numbers, and won't lower them without notice.

Limits against automation

  • Each person has a short-term burst limit of 20 requests per 10 minutes across all AI features. Ordinary design work doesn't come close to it; it exists to stop scripts and runaway automation. If you reach it, wait a few minutes and try again.
  • Requests also have reasonable size and rate limits to protect the service from errors and attacks. These are safety limits, not usage quotas.

Build with AI on the Free plan

Build with AI is included in the Free plan to help you start, with these limits:

  • up to 3 plans per person per day, and up to 10 per network (IP address) per day. Days reset at 00:00 UTC, and a generation counts when it starts, even if it fails;
  • an overall daily budget for all free use. If it runs out, Build with AI pauses for the Free plan with a message saying so, and is available again when the budget resets the next day.

Subscribers have no daily limit on Build with AI; the fair-scheduling and burst rules above apply.

Safety circuit breaker

As a safety net against runaway costs and attacks, all AI features share a service-wide hourly ceiling, set far above normal use. If unusual demand ever reaches it, AI features pause briefly with a clear message and come back automatically; everything else keeps working. It isn't a per-customer limit.

Per-file technical limits

Prohibited

  • Automated or scripted use that isn't a person designing: scraping, bulk generation, using renders or AI as a general-purpose compute service, or reselling access.
  • Attempting to access other people's data, probing or bypassing security or limits, or disrupting the service.
  • Uploading malware, or content you don't have rights to, or that is illegal, harassing or exploitative.
  • Creating accounts in bulk (including to get around the Free plan's limits) or sharing one full seat among several people who edit.

Enforcement and appeals

Automated signals are reviewed by a person before action is taken against a paying customer, except where immediate action is needed to stop an attack. We'll tell you what we found and what you can do. You can appeal any decision by replying to our message or through contact; a different team member reviews appeals.
