Bring your partner, client or contractor into a project — free for viewing and commenting.
Before you start
- A verified email address (check your inbox for the verification link).
- An active subscription. Inviting anyone, including free guests, is part of the subscription; the Free plan is just for you.
- Owner or Admin role to invite members.
Steps
- Open Settings → Members & guests and choose Invite.
- Enter the email address and pick a role: Admin, Editor or Guest. For guests, choose the projects.
- If the role needs a full seat:
- If you have a free purchased seat, the invitation reserves it.
- If not, you'll see the exact increase (e.g. "USD 39.00 → USD 49.00 per month, plus tax") and the owner can buy a seat first. Unaccepted invitations never add seats automatically.
- Send. The person receives an email. Invitations expire, work only once and must be accepted by someone signed in with that email address.
- Manage pending invitations from the same page: Resend or Revoke (revoking frees the reserved seat).
Accepting an invitation
- Open the email and choose Accept invitation.
- Sign in or create an account with the invited email address.
- You're added to the workspace and can switch to it from the workspace menu.
Common problems
- "This invitation was sent to a different email." Sign out and sign in with the invited address, or ask for a new invitation.
- "Invitation expired." Ask the sender to resend it.
- Didn't receive the email? Check spam, and ask the sender to confirm the address.
