Upload reference images, plans, textures and 3D models. Storage is unlimited on the subscription; only individual files have technical size limits.

Before you start

  • Edit access to the project or workspace asset library.

Supported files and per-file limits

TypeFormatsMax size per file
ImagesPNG, JPEG, WebP25 MB
DocumentsPDF50 MB
3D modelsGLB, glTF200 MB

These are per-file safety limits, not monthly quotas. There's no cap on how many files you upload or on total storage.

Steps

  1. Open the project's Files tab or the workspace Asset library.
  2. Drag files in, or choose Upload.
  3. Each file is uploaded directly to secure storage, then checked: type, size and checksum are verified, and previews are generated. The file shows Processing until checks pass, then Ready.
  4. Only ready files can be used in designs or shared.

Privacy and security

  • Files are stored in private Cloudflare R2 storage. Each download uses a short-lived, signed link issued only after checking your access.
  • Photo location (GPS) metadata is removed from images by default.
  • Files are never public unless you deliberately share them.
  • Removing someone's access stops them getting new download links.

Common problems

  • "File too large." Compress the image, split a PDF, or reduce model texture sizes.
  • Stuck on Processing. Large models can take a minute. If it fails, the file shows an error with a reason; try re-exporting it from the source application.
  • Unsupported type. Convert to one of the formats above. For PDFs you want to trace, export the page as an image — see blueprint import.
