On this page

Samples are complete, fully editable homes — from a studio apartment to a two-storey family home — each with a short learning goal. Exploring one is the fastest way to see what's possible.

Before you start

  • Nothing! You can browse samples at /samples without an account. To open one in the editor you'll need a free account.

Steps

  1. Browse. Filter by room type, area, floors, style, complexity, units or accessible layouts.
  2. Preview. Open a sample to see it larger in 2D or 3D, switch floors and toggle furnished / unfurnished. Nothing is saved, so explore as many as you like.
  3. Use this sample. Choose Use this sample. This creates your own copy with fresh IDs inside your workspace. The original sample is never changed, and later updates to the sample never overwrite your copy.
  4. Follow the learning goal. Each sample tells you what it demonstrates — for example, how a galley kitchen keeps work zones within reach.
  5. Make it yours. Move walls, swap materials, try a new layout. Save a version before big experiments.

On the Free plan

The Free plan includes one workspace with one floor plan (one design), so copying a sample uses your free floor plan. Exploring samples doesn't. When you subscribe, your floor plan becomes a normal project and you can copy as many samples as you like — nothing you made is lost.

Common problems

  • "Use this sample" asks me to sign up. Opening a sample in the editor needs an account so your copy can be saved.
  • My copy doesn't match the latest sample. Copies are independent by design; open the sample again to make a fresh copy.
